I noticed today it's not on my phone and had to manually installed it. Why is it Verizon the only one doing this?

To find out why you'd have to ask the executive at Verizon who made the decision. It's like asking why AT&T, Samsung and Verizon came up with a welded-shut bootloader and Knox. Or why any company makes any decision. There's almost always a reason more than just "because they can" - but sometimes it makes even less sense than that one. (I've worked for companies - though not for very long - that made engineering decisions in the marketing department. That's about like folding when you're holding royal flush.)

There is a widget preloaded on Verizon models that will take you to the Samsung store.

Yeah but Samsung has more control over their phones then any other OEM for android at least by what the carrier can not install or install

Hmmmmm, I am happy to not have an additional store to fork my apps. Anything on there that is worth the hassle?

This is the Galaxy Essentials widget that is on my Note 4. I don't really see how you get any new "Samsung" apps from this.

Enough with the screen shots, post a link! when I try visiting apps.samsung.com I can't find a link to download anything. There's something called Samsung+, but that doesn't read like it's the same thing.

Open Galaxy Essentials by tapping that widget, then tap either the left pointing arrow at the top of the screen or More in Galaxy Apps at the bottom of the screen. Either of those takes you to Galaxy Apps.

In order for you to get some Galaxy apps. You need to open the app drawer and on the uper right hand corner click on the three dots and on the list where it says Uninstalled apps you can find the sections where it says Galaxy Essentials. That's where you get the app .

Quote The Note 4 Never More😤
