hey just sorry for the late reply just put in this address and it will take you to the APN setting and then just pop it the sim card and your done

Guys... I just bought a verizon note 3. 15 minutes with it. Bought in California but I live in Mexico. So I just put TELCEL chip but phone does not get the network and it say PHONE ACTIVATION: THIS SIM CARD IS FROM AN UNKNOWN SOURCE. But my Att note 3 gets telcel network no problem. What do you suggest???

Seems is not factory sim unlocked. I accidently upgraded to kitkat 4.4.4 and turns out my verizon note 3 wont read my mexican sim card. It will only read "NO SIM CARD FOUND" I already did all the things I have found on here and none of them work. It wont even let me go into the mobile settings section. Any idea what could be wrong or how I can fix the problem?

Hello all, I have a VZW Note 3, it's still under my 2 year contract with Verizon. Anyways I am thinking about just not paying my bill and using a tmobile sim. My question is if I don't pay my bill and they blacklist it for non payment can I still use a tmobile sim on it? Also does anyone know if a VZW Galaxy S4 in the same situation can be used on tmobile as well after being blacklisted for nonpayment?

It will be blacklisted, and carriers share black list, so once black listed, you won't be able to use it on tmobile.

with tmobile, you can get them to pay your etf,which would avoid black list

I am looking to purchase a factory unlocked verizon phone from a u.s seller.
I heard on this form that I will not get the full benefits of the 4G?

Also heard mixed comments from different users.
Some say they cannot send pictures text messages and the tether does not work. Every few mins a pop up will say ' sim card not found' also ?

What are the real disadvantages ? And What will I have to config for it to work?

Since I am not tech savvy, I am hoping its an easy task without rooting etc.

Please let me know if anyone has experience in Canada as I will be using a Canadian carrier and sim card.
