Verizon Note 3 Problems, not entirely pleased

Thank you for the screenshot tip.

You can also just do a screen swipe with your hand to take shots, just like on all other galaxy s devices (s3,s4, note 2 etc...) it's easy and fast you guys sure are making it harder than it has to be! Learn the phone lol it has an easy way of doing most anything, you just gotta find out the short cuts. also Swype keyboard is the best out, even if you don't like Swype, as a regular keyboard it performs flawless and had a ton of options for theming and customizing to make it the best even for this who don't get it like it knew how to actually use the "Swype" typing.

Haven't had any problems with my Verizon note 3. It's the best Android device I've ever used.

That video was helpful. It showed me a thing or two I didn't know.

I have the AT&T version and I can't say I've had any of the issues I have seen on these boards.
Great reception, incredible battery life, no Wi-Fi issues. Nothing crashes. Lag is super minor, only pops up occasionally.
Camera... hmm, I kind of agree. It does seem to take a bit too long to focus and processing after the snap seems to be reallllllly slow when compared to an iPhone 5S or moto x.
But, I can get some great photos out of the Note 3. I don't like to take low light pictures because no phone gets low light pictures right. HTC one takes a good stab at it, but still misses the mark.

I am very happy with the phone over-all. Love the screen, it's beautiful. nom nom nom. I actually use the S-pen a bit and love it.
I love the design and feel of the device. Love the leather like back and stitched edge, I think it looks Great.
I just love the phone. And I am certainly not a samsung fanboy. I work at apple. I am just a tech lover and like anything that beeps or flashes.

Hope you get the issues resolved. You may just return it within the 14 day return period and tell them the phone is not right, swap for another.
I am actually on my 2nd Note 3 because I bought the phone, kept it for 4 days, took it back. Went back to moto x and then decided I wanted the note 3 back.
So, I bought it again and sold the moto x. Both of my AT&T phones worked perfectly. (other than the Knox issue that every note has)
Such a great device. I love mine.

I went from the the DROID maxx to the note 3. Phone definitely has a little lag when switch apps, screens or running certain commands. I love some of the note three features but my DROID maxx is much more responsive and faster. I don't know if touch wiz is slowing things down or if Verizon did something with the config, but maxx is definitely faster. This is a little surprising considering the hardware specs on the GN3.
