So i heard the Note 3 was on sale for $89.99 on its release date(not sure if this was due to bad projected sales or just a marketing thing). Should I wait and see if this happens again or pre-order ?

I've been wondering this same thing. More of a Moto fan, but st that price I could try it then resell it.

Did you mean the Note 4? I just want to be sure I know what you mean. Your title says Note 4 .. and you say pre-order so I assume the Note 4.

The Note 4 is $299 on contract for Verizon. Full price hasn't been said (from what I have read).

Yeah the Note 4. I heard in the past the Note 3 was $89.99 on its release date and 299.99 there after. Was wondering if anyone has heard of this happening for the Note 4.

I think you're talking about dpham. He got lucky in that his 30% off coupon (VERIZON30 iirc) glitched into 30% of on contract price. I wouldn't count on it again.

You never know. They might want to entice more people away from the new iPhones

Using the Samsung $200 minimum trade in in conjunction with the best buy reserve $50gc (if you signed up for it), it would be about the same, factoring in the cost of the trade in

I remember seeing a bunch of posts on multiple forums that there was a first day only sale on the N3 at $89, then the next day they went up. I think to $299. I see the pre-order is available on the N4, so this thread may become irrelevant. :)

There was a preorder for the note 3 too. The only way to get the $90 price was through online order with in-store pickup using the coupon, and even then, some stores wouldn't let it go through m

Best buy had a promotion going where you get a $200 bb gift card for trading in any working smartphone. Makes the note 4 $99 but the catch is you have to select in store pick up.

I'm hoping to that a double dip is possible here to get a screaming deal on a Note 4. From what I can tell, the Best Buy promotion is you get a $200 gift card when you pre-order the Note 4 AND trade-in a working phone. What I'm not sure about is whether the $200 gift card is your "payment" for the trade-in or if you get the trade-in amount as well.

I'm hoping I can:
1. Pre-order at Best Buy.
2. Trade in my HTC Thunderbolt for $10 (current trade in value according to Best Buy website).
3. Get a $200 Best Buy gift card.
4. Get a $190 check from Samsung for their promotion.

I'd be making $91 minus taxes and fees. So far no Verizon preorder on the best buy website though.
