Verizon Note 4 Lollipop lag??

I am not sure if it is just me or what but I seem to be dealing with lag after updating to lollipop and everything I read seems to be saying how lag free it is. In particular, the folder opening animation is very hitchy and irrattic. Also, opening and closing of apps pause for a split second before completing the action. Google now also doesn't work as before. It will not allow me to switch the option that keeps it on all the time. Very frustrating as this was a feature I used very often. I did a complete cache wipe and factory reset before installing lollipop and had zero issues during the process. Anyone else experiencing anything similar???

Im not sure but i think most of what i have seen on the forums is to do the factory reset after installing lollipop instead of before.

As far as lag, i dont see any on mine, however i set the animation settings to off just to keep things simple.

As far as google now i have no idea, sorry.

Knock on wood, I am not experiencing any lag, before or after my factory reset. I have my animations set on 1x.

Me either *knocking on would as well*.
I also always go in and make sure it didn't turn apps on that I already had set to Off, and Clear all my caches. My Note 4 was laggy BEFORE I got the update, it seems better now. I turn my animations OFF completely.

My lag has improved from the update. While it was not something I complained or worried about with KitKat, it was present. I have had a much smoother experience since Lollipop -- animations, last apps, and camera launch included.

Also, FDR *after* install is probably better than before. Hope that helps.

Factory reset will fix it. My note4 has a jerky framerate after the 5.0.1 upgrade. It's gone after the factreset
