Verizon Note 4 Release Date?

I've heard a lot of different release dates, Verizon only says pre-order availability is 10/23 but almost all websites say 10/17 and a dude here on AC said 10/27??

Anytime between now and oct23. Thats all that we know as of now. US carriers are still holding to there original dates. The earliest US date was announced by at&t for oct14.

I am sure that until an earlier date is confirmed as doable by Verizon, they won't move in the release date.
The worst thing they could do is estimate an earlier release date and for some reason not be able to meet it and have to move it back out. People would be flipping out on them.
My guess is once they know for sure when the pre-orders will ship, they will move up the release date. For instance, if they knew today that pre-orders would ship on 9/29 for 10/1 delivery, they would announce today that the release date is now 10/1. That is PURELY only my reckless speculation.

Lady at VZW store here in Houston said they'd have the phone in for sale on Oct 10th, but only the 16GB models. Said I'd have to pre-order for a 32GB one. Even after I told her the website said Oct 23rd, she assured me they'd have them in on the 10th.

there isn't, it's a verizon employee, you'd get more accurate information from a used car dealer.

@VZWSupport on Twitter confirmed that my Note 4 will be shipping on 10/23 but added that I will get an email if that date changes. .... so there is still a glimmer of hope ..lol

I just came from a Best Buy. Asked the Samsung rep there what was the availability date. They said the 17th. So who knows!

I didn't ask specifically but I've bought from Best Buy before with my vzw phone, so I'm sure that's it for all of them, through best buy, at least.

I don't know if this was the case before but Samsung's promo page for the gift card now said that Verizon customers have until the 22nd to pre order....Will upload screen shot.

ok....thank you for this! So, I pre-ordered my Note 4 ONLINE through Verizon, so that means it gets shipped straight to my house...so my question is.....do I just take my trade-in phone to the local Verizon store, and they will take it as trade-in, and give me what its worth along with a receipt,even though I pre-ordered my Note 4 from Verizon online? I get how the trade-in works if purchasing the phone IN STORE, but its confusing me since I purchased mine ONLINE, and not from my local Verizon store. Please explain!
