Well, I found on Verizon's website it is just a security update. Hopefully it fixes the bad battery life that resulted from the last update in early Dec.

The battery life getting crappy is the reason I just went to the S7 edge, now I have great battery life. Note 5 was decent until the last update

I know less than a day is not a good test, but to me, the update today helped considerably with the battery life. We will see over then next few days for sure.

Downloaded yesterday afternoon. Did a cache partition cleanup before and after download. So far, so good... no problems.
