Verizon now showing another OTA update available?

If you need hotspot I wouldn't update. Getting more speed won't matter unless your download large files.. Streaming will be the same.

I download music and video mostly. But people seem to say that they didn't need to uninstall/reinstall Foxfi after the update. I'm gonna go for it.

I am not rooted and completed the update. I didn't notice any changes so I decided to do a hard reset and now all the fixes kicked in. Mine is now working perfectly with MyFordTouch on my 2014 Explorer. Improved call quality, no skips with GooglePlay streaming, twice as loud, excellent and instant Bluetooth connection, better signal, better battery life and much improved streaming music sound when using wired headphones. No more freezes. I am 100% happy. If you are having problems just do a hard reset, it is a pain but well worth it.

Taking your advice and doing a hard reset because after I updated my service went to complete **** in areas where before I had full bars I had little to none and my speed was crippled.

my foxfi broke until i uninstalled and then reinstalled.....yesterday i didn't have a problem or have to do the vpn, but today it forced me to do the vpn cert and pin unlock, when i tried the fix for the pin unlock i ended up back with the checking for subscription break in the foxfi. so yes foxfi is working for me, but i am stuck with the stupid pin unlock....

I didn't have hands free mode ever on and it worked perfectly until yesterday (in fact, even activating while picking up TV dialog). All my S Voice settings are on but phone no longer responds unless I open the app.

I just read a post on androidforums from someone who stated they have the same issue that started after the new update also.

The update turned this feature off for me. I had to go into S Voice>Settings then check the "wake up command" box, slide the "voice wake up" switch to on, AND click on voice wake up and check that box as well to get the hi Galaxy command to work again

It depends on how lte is in your area. For me it made a difference since at my work the towers are pretty loaded

That's really embarrassing. I don't know of how other people still have hotspot and are getting great speeds. Doesn't make sense. **** you Verizon.

Ok I took another speed test later with better results, but still nothing like what other users are getting. Probably about double the speed it used to be.

I have PDANet + full/paid version on my N3. You should be able to have the Hotspot functional? Good luck!

It's very hit and miss right now for me. I can't use the widget to start the hotspot anymore. It'll look like this.

So I hit the home button to get rid of the Verizon message. But when I use Foxfi to start the hotspot it works sometimes. I know it's working when I see the red VZ hotspot symbol at the top.

I don't use the VZ cancel button, before the update when that prompt came up you just had to hit the phones home button. I figured it out though. I can't use my widget to start the hotspot, I have to start it in the actual Foxfi app.
