I was on testman page and a pop up window came up so I could talk to a sales.

Funny thing is they would be fine with customers renting razr or rezound and returning for GN as long as they get to sell one more phone.

You: I heard that verizon extended the return period for phones bought on or after 11/15 to 1/9?
You: from original 14 days?
You: is it true?

You: Because since you guys are so silent about galaxy nexus, I would like to 'test-drive' or 'rent' the RAZR till nexus comes out

You: i know i will have to pay $35
You: restocking fee

Gregory: I would be happy to walk you through your order.

With all the threads being closed im surprised someone posted something like this.

I don't get why you'd pay $35 for a device to hold you over for another device that releases in the same month.

ps: i hope they delay your exchange/refund when you go get a nexus just cause how impatient your showing yourself to be. Tomorrow im going to go buy a 2012 BMW M3 and return it when the 2013 comes out cause i cant wait...3500 stock fee?? just money, here take it bmw i dont value it at all

They do not care that you do this. It will just slowly cause the prices and fees go to up over time. Don't worry it's not eating into any of their profits. They will gladly pass it along to all of us in the future.

There won't be a 2013 M3. The next model year is 2014 or 2015. It has to do with the redesign. (I only know this because I have a 2011.)

can't believe anyone on here has an issue with wasting $35. I mean, you're gonna spend $300 for a phone you really don't need. You WANT it. You LIKE it. But you don't need it.

skwon09, there's absolutely nothing wrong with what your wanting to do. Matter of fact, if I don't hear anything by Monday I'll be "renting" a phone too. If the Verizon sales people who are on this site don't like it ...tough sh&t. I have been a Verizon customer for a long time and I know Verizon knows that people are wanting to know the release date for this phone so I don't feel bad at all buying a phone that I know I will be returning. My current phone is almost dead and I don't think I have the time to sit back and wait week after week for Verizon to try to squeeze more profit out of their bloatware infested phones. I know that Google is letting Verizon dictate the launch so I'm going to do whats best for me and not what I think its best for a Fortune 500 company.

I got myself Rezound yesterday from Best Buy, will be returning as soon as Nexus shows up. Nothing wrong with that.
On a sidenote, Rezounds screen is hands down the best screen I've ever seen on any smartphone. That would've been a keeper if it wasn't for Nexus.
