Yeah I actually restart every night lol. It's a habit. Now that I have auto restart I might just do it once a week.

Anyone noticed the phone is a bit smoother after update, was wondering if it wasn't just me.

I noticed it too. I wasn't sure if I was my imagination.

Answering my own questions:
Custom notifications for contacts are gone.
Separate notifications for gmail labels is gone.
There is a second apps feature, not sure what it is.
I do have the GIF option on the keyboard.

I have 2 different notification tones for both my Gmail accounts on my phone.

Yup my newer main Gmail account I have set to something different and my older Gmail account just plays the default notification tone.

According to what I read on XDA Developers, from people experiencing problems, you'll have to Odin back to Nougat... sorry. I went through that with Nougat to Marshmallow - decided to skip it this time just because of that experience!


Then again, were you in the Official Beta Program? That might be different...

Does the edge lighting still work on the phone? In the menu, I no longer have the phone to be selected.

Has anyone else noticed the Verizon Messaging+ App LED notification light is blue? It used to be green, but can't figure out how to get it back to green. I liked it green because it was different than all other notifications. Anyone having this issue?

Nothing. And I don't think Verizon took it away. I had to reinstall it a few weeks ago when I did a factory reset.

They took it away on the note 7 and a lot of people complained because they were missing features. They left if on every device after that
