So VZW can do the SD card update and still get future OTAs? That's awesome.

Maybe Verizon is waiting to integrate Samsung one UI version 1.1 into their update. However, if Samsung operates as they have in the past, the S10 variants won't even see Samsung one UI version 1.1 until they get the Android Q update at which time they will get the latest version of one UI. The only phone that will likely see any Samsung one UI updates in 2019 is the Galaxy Note 10.

From what I have read about One UI I hope you're right.

Yeah, note 9 is Samsung Experience 9.5 and Android 8.1. The S9 shipped earlier last year with Samsung Experience 9.0 and Android 8.0.
