Verizon Pre-Order Thread.

Customer Service there sucks. They just read the same information we see. They won't call local branches to find out anything. And no, they won't deliver on weekends unless Verizon specifies it.
Until it says "Out for Delivery" then its still sitting on the truck at the fedex warehouse. UNLESS, they forgot to dispatch the driver and he is actually out for delivery...They have up to 8pm for residential deliveries, 430pm for businesses.

Omg so it WAS delivered! I wasn't even looking out for it since I figured they'd not be delivering so late. It literally prob came about 8 pm. I got a text on my phone and ran to the front porch where it had been left so obviously no signature needed. I had a previous commitment tonight and am busy tomorrow so I will be opening this on Sunday!

Mine showed up at 2:10 pm central time. I've been spending all night setting it up. I had to set it up as new since I was on iPhone 11 Pro Max for the last several months. Many of the apps transferred, but some of the text messages didn't transfer from Smart Switch, which is weird. Oh well. All my contacts are there so I'm good.

I love this phone and it pairs nicely with the Galaxy Watch 3!

Never had this issues before, but Google Play store keeps saying it's finishing setup and installing 13 out of 14 apps. It's been like that all day. Any ideas?

My order actually says pre-backordered. That means they are going to back order it before its back ordered?

Yes, I ordered the 512. Did know it's on backorder. Hope it arrives on the 25th as stated my Verizons website.

Yeah, that's exactly what it means. They didn't supply enough of the 512 versions this year apparently so they were backordered like the 2nd or 3rd day after pre orders went live. You'll get it soon, I know it sucks waiting but not much else you can do. And it's only a couple of days.

I haven't turned mine on yet either. I will probably get it going tonight after work. Funny how we sit and complain that it has not been delivered yet...Only to be delivered and we don't open it till the next day.

The anticipation, I truly believe, is more than half of the fun. A new phone, for many people, isn't a life-changing prescription when you distill the experience to its essence.
