yea... this is a non story. they e-mailed PR, PR gave a canned response. the same response they've given to everyone, as they've been instructed to by higher ups.

the only thing that's newsworthy in this thread was the post about how two of three things on that leaked memo, the white RAZR and the expansion of LTE, including expansion in the savannah, ga area... have, indeed, happened. there's only one announcement left...

Some on AF are still being told it will be sold tomorrow so will be interesting to see if they can actually buy one. This is the same thing they have been saying since it was announced months ago about still being on track for end of year.

I'm gonna bring my family to the Verizon store Xmas morning to open the gifts from us and Santa. That way I can be with my family and get the phone!

At this point the Rezound is close to being perm rooted and S-OFF. There's very little advantage to a GNex with the constant delays. Both phones are great but if it comes to getting the Rezound I won't complain.

I was responding to the Joke about Verizon opening for Christmas to sell this phone and large corporations feeling the need to pry not only their employees but their customers away from their family, like Target etc. on holidays.

My better half has asked repeatedly what I want for Christmas and she knows its a Nexus. Perhaps Verizon hasn't ruined Christmas for me, but it sure would put a nasty taste in my mouth if the one thing I am getting isn't available because.... (insert one of the various BS excuses).

No I don't have to have the phone on release, but I have missed releases before, and second batches can take weeks or even months depending on demand. So I feel its a release day purchase or more waiting. The store I have been visiting has 5 phones and ten people asking (according to lady).

I will also be in rural Montana visiting family. I don't think there is a VZW store that would be open for 50 miles. So yeah. I am sticking with VZW has ruined christmas. Love free speach.

Just talked to the regional sales manager in Michigan. He says the launch date is scheduled for tomorrow even showed it to me on his computer. However he told me he isn't 100% sure because corporate likes to change their mind.
