[Verizon] Root?

Now that many people have the Verizon S4 in hand, is there a root method for it like the other carriers? Basically, has Verizon done anything to the phone to stop this root [HOW TO-ROOT&UNLOCK] OTA&KIES Updates+OFFICIAL Status+ XXUAME2 ROOTED [GT-I9505] - xda-developers from working?

I would be very cautious as you are doing and investigate things fully before attempting. Last thing you need is a brick from Verizon's padlock on the phone.

I'm good with following directions, but I am a mac user and apparently Odin is windows only? I can get XP up and running on my old imac, but that's it. Will Odin work with XP?

This is what I used to root my phone and it worked 100% no issues at all.

I was a little scared at first because of the resetting of firmware but this guide was easy to follow and I've rooted many devices by just using a root exploit tool that you run the .bat and your done but this is safe and easy to do.
