Verizon S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Maybe we will see some sort of activity Monday...basically every other carrier is seeing activity and movement except Verizon with one person on here getting theirs Tuesday

If mine does in fact deliver Tuesday, I won't see any movement on it until late Monday night. The pick up location is only a few hours from my house. I just hope I wake up Tuesday morning to see it out for delivery.

I think Tue and/or Wed is when most of us are going to get some action and see our status' change from pending or processing. I think they want these things delivered to us by Friday.

I looked back at my emails for the S7 edge and S8 plus when I preordered. Both were delivered exactly 3 days before release date.

I spoke to a Verizon rep....take this with a grain of salt..but they didn't really provide a reason why the App is different than the website, but they said it looks like they ship out on the 8th.

This is completely wrong and this shouldn’t be anyone’s first rodeo with Verizon Pre order.

All March 8th shipments will be delivered by 8th. Movement will happen starting Tuesday. Some will see Thursday delivery and some day of release.

My Source? Me. Because I work for Verizon.

Once you are in charge, that means your package is being shipped out that day.

This is exactly what I thought would be the case. A related question Joe - - why is there that striking difference in the wording used in the VZ app and the VZ website? One says "deliver by" 3-8 and the other says "ship on 3-8." Two very different statements, I'm sure you'd agree. Shouldn't they both convey the same information to the customer?

Anyway, thanks for the authoritative update from an insider.

One final question - - how are pre-sales compared to those of the S8 and S9?

I would be shocked if you didn’t get it on Friday, but that date is becoming the norm for the 1TB model. Seems Samsung is limiting them. Our system says “ Limited Quantities by Manufacturer”

Sales have tripled compared to the S9 launch. The S9 launch was sad... VERY sad.

As for the wording comparing app to site, I’d blame it on technology lol of course Verizon can cover their arse if they miss the date too.

All i can say is this, Verizon is VERY strict about meeting delivery dates. They have always been on time or in most cases
Early, But like most retailers, It’s possible for delays.

I was talking to Verizon about my bill a minute ago and now I get a text stating they will ship out in 3/08. I find that hard to believe. If it’s like every previous launch it will arrive on 3/8

Been there myself in the past few months. Purchased the 512GB blue Note 9, sold it and got the 512GB iPhone XS Max, sold it and got another 512GB Note 9 in midnight black. Just sold the midnight black Note 9 and ordered the S10 Plus 1TB in ceramic black.
