Verizon S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

He's a long time Verizon employee and knows what he's talking about.

Don’t mean to hijack the thread but two quick questions:

A) do I turn off the iPhones and swap sims before turning on the galaxy phones?

B) if I put a micro as card and use smart switch. Will it put music on a certain memory card or does it matter?
 
Ok so i just received a text saying my orders were received with today’s date (odd). When I go online the shipping date has been removed and I only have “processing” and the cancel buttons are gone

Mine is the same way. Just saw the text message. Cancel button removed and date is gone
 
Good news (I think)! Just got the following text From Verizon. Looks like it's happening. YAY

"Free VZW Msg: Your order #5xxxxxxx was received on 03/04/2019. You'll receive a text message with tracking information when your order ships."
 
Is it worth it to cancel my order through Verizon and re-order through the Samsung website (using Verizon financing)?

I preordered my S10 on Friday through Verizon's website. They charged me the taxes, plus the remaining balance on my S8 ($60), plus the $30 upgrade fee for a total of $160.

I just priced it out on Samsung, and they would charge me $0 up front, the $30 upgrade fee on my first bill, and I wouldn't owe the remaining $60 on my S8. Plus, they'd give me $100 more for my S8 than Verizon is offering.

I still have the ability to cancel my order through Verizon. However, Samsung is saying my phone wouldn't ship until March 15. Would I still likely receive it this week if I pre-ordered it today?
 
I pre-ordered on Friday (March 2). I also just got the text message, and my credit card was charged. Sweet!
 
Got a text and update via the app (was pending to now processing) that they are getting my shipment ready if that means anything. At least any change in status is in the right direction.
 
Cancel button gone and status on app is processing instead of pending. Also on the website can see the invoice
 
No charges to my card yet, however my cancel button is also gone and now processing. I certainly hope to get a tracking number by morning but who knows
 
Why is Verizon so odd? I can no longer see any orders in my phone, on the site orders the pictures are gone, dates are gone and cancel is gone and no charges. Lol
 
I was charged as well. Looks like Verizon is right on time. We should start seeing tracking tomorrow night.
 
... I'm starting to feel like mine isn't really being delivered tomorrow... I hope I wake up in the morning and see it has moved. Gr!
