Verizon S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Yes it is completely normal. I remember seeing the same thing for the S7edge and S8+ when I preordered. But just think about how exciting it is going to be when you get that updated email/text message saying that it is shipping.

Yes,I ordered Saturday,and my estimated date is the 15th. That's from Samsung. I went with them because of their trade in deal. Verizon gives you a cred6 but they spread it out over 2 years! I never, ever keep a phone 2 years. So,you lose the rest of your device credit if you want to pay off your phone and upgrade early. My email from Samsung said the earbuds are back ordered until mid to late April too. Samsung wasn't expecting the huge number of preorders.

One of the mail reasons I order from BestBuy, is that you save the extra $50 from them and the trade in is up front (as a down payment) and not as a bill credit. Sometime I get my phone a little later, but it is worth it. My financed part on the contract is $550 less.

That's exactly why I cancelled my order through Samsung and went to Best Buy too many issues and it's nice to be able to just trade-in the phone right then and the amount deducted from the new phone.

I have a friend that has worked in the phone department for a few years and he said that his store there has only been one time where they didn't get the phone on launch day, and it ended up being just a day or two later. Who told you you would be getting your phone later?

Not saying it would be late... but that is the reputation of BestBuy. Who know, once I got it shipped and receive it early so you never really know. But over the years I would say BestBuy is a little worse. Plus I can't get it shipped I have to go into the store and pick it up.

That is the only potential down side to BestBuy. Every outlet has had issues at one time or another.

Anyone watching unboxing videos? Is that an actual screen protector already on the phone or just plastic to peel off

Do you have a link to the video? The two I watched showed just the normal plastic one that comes on most phones out of the box, and it had the hole cutout.

My order says expected delivery by 3-8-19 but still shows as "processing." On the order confirmation it still reads "please check back later for an updated order status."

Is this normal for a Verizon pre-order?

could you double check the wording? I ordered thru samsung.com with the verizon 24 month deal and I my order is already confirmed, but it states will "ship" by Mar 15th. No mention of an actual delivery date.

My Verizon order is deliver by 3/12/2019 and I just pre ordered yesterday.

I called and spoke with a person, they sent me all the confirmation emails, had to sign the device agreement plan and something else and that's it. They will charge me the device upgrade fee when the phone ships. I also called my credit card company to inform them of that charge so they won't flag it and it ends up cancelled. They guy I spoke to at Verizon said that happened to him...

Cool. Thanks. I don't have anything from Vzw. I check my account and it doesn't even show I have + on order. Oh well. Guess when I activate it, then they'll know, lol

Just placed my order with Verizon for the S10 Plus Ceramic Black 1TB and my receive by date is now 3/12/2019 instead of 3/8.

Wanted to dump the Note 9 first before ordering.

Mine shows the same, it's still processing and to come back later for an update. Deliver by 3-8. The Rep I talked to said the shipping info would go out on the 6th. I'm hoping for sooner. I believe T mobile users are seeing as early as 3/5
