Verizon S3: Any ROMs that allow the old Google Navigation?

I probably shouldn't have allowed the 4.3 update. It was mainly to stop the annoying notification. I refllashed back to stock recovery and took the OTA update, then rerooted.

I hate the new google maps / navigation app.

Are there any newer custom ROMs which allow the old google nav? Or surely I can just reflash 3.1.2 and revert? I haven't yet re-installed a custom recovery.

Probably the update included the new version of Maps. You could manually sideload the old version of Maps, but you have to disable autoupdate in PlayStore settings. When there are apps updates, you have to tap each app to update them manually, you'll just have to deal with it if you want to use the old version.

Maps NimaGL2. Load along side regular maps. It's the older version and won't get updated.

There are no recoveries for 4.3 yet, so you won't be able to flash any other ROMs. Try the solutions posted above, if that doesn't work then you'll have to wait for a workaround before you can flash an older ROM
