Verizon S7 /S7 Edge BOGO promotion

Anyone try combining the BOGO S7 promo with the switch to verizon promo (pay off your balance with old cellular company and give you money for trading in old phones). I'm curious if they'll let you do both?

Yes, I am doing both. It has been a pain because the BOGO and SWITCH departments are separate. I have been on the phone a lot with customer service. A month later and a combined total of 4 or 5 hours on the phone and both show a processing status. Knowing what a hassle it was going to be, I would have stayed with my previous carrier.

I looked at verizonwireless.com/rebates & my status says Invalid. It says your purchase information submitted is ineligible for a rebate. I looked at yourdigitalrebatecenter.com & it says pending. I don't know why it would be invalid. I sent both phone agreement & bar codes for each phone & did everything that they wanted. Looks like another mess with Verizon. I did a chat with a verizon rep I don't know how long ago now & she said I was eligible. Verizon is making me mad with the whole S7 process.

Check that in your installment agreement documents that the footnote has agreement#_location_order. One of mine was missing order# and it caused invalid which I got fixed.
 
I did Verizon chat yesterday & they informed me their system is having technical problems and to allow 48 hours to update. I asked them if I was approved and they said "Yes, you are approved for the rebate." It's beyond the 45 days when I initially submitted. I think I submitted around 3-20-16, give or take a few days. I have not received approval email though.
 
My switch promo has been accepted. My BOGO still shows its in the review stage. Rebates are frustrating.

I have had "There are either no valid rewards or there is a $0 check reward" since last Thursday. Called Thursday and Friday they keep saying don't know what is wrong that everything is fine with the submission and everything is there. Was supposed to be getting a call from upper level within 48 hours. No call obviously so going to have to call today. Between this and the Samsung promo I am pretty burnt out.
 
Same thing has happened to me. This whole Bogo program is a joke.

I am "In Process" and "Your reward will be mailed. Please allow 10-14 days to receive." (received 04-20). So although it's been slow and I had an initial invalid I had to work out, it seems to be progressing fine.

Of course the email says they will mail card 15-30 days, but the site says receive 10-14.

I submitted 3/22 and received appeal email 4/13
 
Just got the message that my rebate is approved and verified and card will be sent in 10-14 days. I initially had an issue where they said I didn't submit everything I needed to submit, got that fixed and am now expecting my rebate.
 
I've had so many problems with this promotion. I rec'd email 5-19 that they sent my submission to upper management and allow 15 days for a resolution and then I'd get a card with "the missing amount within 8-10 weeks of valid submission." Well I submitted around 3-20 with exactly everything the needed and haven't gotten jack yet.
 
Talk to a Supervisor at the rebate call center told him it had been 6 week and I have heard nothing and was wondering what the status was. The said I was approved but was going to take another 4 to 6 weeks be fore I would receive gift card. I will never again go through this horse and pony show again. I bet if I told them it is going to be 4 to 6 weeks before I pay my bill that would not fly.

Touche. They said you would receive the card within 8-10 weeks of submission. Well I have about 1 more week of that especially considering they're taking 15 days to try to resolve my issue. Why the heck does it take so stupid long to resolve this issue? Verizon has been terrible with their promotions. For the record I sent Verizon an email about how awful they have been with the whole Galaxy S7 process. I've never seen anything work so chaotically or slow.
 
I'm thinking of dumping my verizon lines and switching to another carrier. For the huge amount of money I'm paying them each month for multiple lines, I should be getting better customer service. I've been with verizon since the days of Bell Atlantic and NYNEX. I've been waiting six weeks now for my rebate card, and when I navigate their automated system, it finally tells me "your expected fulfillment date is June 11th." Their website claims that "rebates take three to four weeks to be received, once they get your submission." So is this another game by verizon like we had to wait forever to receive our S2 watches?

Online it just says: Date received: 4-20 Status: In Process. Your reward will be mailed. Please allow 10-14 days to receive.
I never saw a status saying when it will be fulfilled. What web site are you going to? I use yourdigitalrebatecenter.com.

So today is the 14th day going by the email. I don't know if the status is supposed to change to shipped or what.

My email from 5/16 says 15 days. This tracking says 30 days, other tracking says 10-141464364729559.jpg
 
I did a chat, he says please add an additional 15-30 days from now to receive it! He says it'll come by postal service and the online status will change at the time it ships. His English was bad but this seems to be what he meant to say.
