Verizon S8 / S8+ Pre-Order Discussion

FINALLY we have some movement!!

Mine was sitting in Memphis since Saturday. Today it's out!! Received a phone call & text that it will be delivered tomorrow before 4:30p and it needs to be signed for.

YAHOOOOOOOO!!!

Lucky. Mine still says it's in Memphis since 4 AM
 
Really mad right now. Got an email @ 10pm Saturday from Verizon saying "Your order has been successfully cancelled" and I immediately said WTF! Signed on to my account to verify and saw it was cancelled. Instantly initiated a chat session with them to find out what was going on. They said there was an error in processing my payment (same payment account I just paid my bill with one day earlier). They suggested calling my bank to see if it was declined on their end. Called my bank and they said no declines or even charge attempts by Verizon. So I ended up having to call Verizon sales and re-order my phone on Sunday morning. Long story short, my phone SHOULD be on it's way right now, but because Verizon screwed up, I'm sitting at "We're getting your pre-order ready"

Me too. They tried to charge me the full amount of the phone and couldn't do they canceled my order. I had to reorder on 4/14. Still sitting in "processing".
 
"Shipment information sent to FedEx" this morning, so that's progress. Still in Linwood. My delivery time changed from 4:30 to 8:00pm now

I bet you got hit by the Fraud Department....Sounds like the same thing that happened to me.
 
If you have a scheduled delivery you can call FedEx and they can narrow the window of delivery. Mine said by 8pm on 4/19 and called and said estimated to be delivered between 12:20 and 3

No, my bank said there were no declined charges or suspicious activity on my account. It was a pure screw up on Verizon's end. They didn't process it correctly.
 
I got that canceled before, called in and they said card declined . Call bank and they said VRZ didnt charge , all you need to call fraud department on your bank , the customer service you called in , they can't access or see that transaction was declined

I mean by the Fraud Department at Verizon. They stopped my preorder and no knowledge of why it happened.
 
ryssafaith, your shipment and mine are together, it looks like. I placed my order on the 12th and the shipping process began yesterday, though. Your status and mine match for Monday and Tuesday, including times. When is your shipment scheduled to be delivered? Mine says 4/20 and has "Per shipper instructions, package will not be delivered until the scheduled delivery date". Does your shipment have any kind of hold on it?
Mine says the same exact thing. 😭

I didn't call into the normal customer service. I called into the fraud dept. It was a pure processing error on their end.
 
Fedex just dropped off my case. They are usually here between 8-10AM, so I'm not going to worry about 8pm. They are never that late
 
Mine is still in Memphis with a 4:10am scan.

I did just get a text from FedEx letting me know there would be a signature required for what it's worth.
 
Two scheduled FedEx flights from Memphis to Phoenix today. So if it's gonna move, it'll be in the next couple hours.
