Let me ask you this.. Are you one that is bad to drop phonea or work in an area where it could be damaged easily or dropped?
If you are just trying to be extra careful and none of that applies, you might not need a stronger case. I haven't dropped mine yet and I've had it since launch day. Several people here have dropped their phone while using it and sometimes talking on it while standing up and they only had a scratch on the edge, etc.
Another thing to think about, is switching the insurance after you get the phone. As long as you bought the phone within 30 days or currently have insurance, you can get your phone covered. It is a lot cheaper, you can take it to a local shop if you want for repair, send it to Samsung and the deductible is only $75.
The best, for the price coverage they have is 3 years and it is $129.99, two years is $99.99. The only down side to Square Trade is they don't cover losing the phone or theft, just damage. So if you drop the phone and crack all the glass, it will only cost $75 to get it fixed or replaced if you damage it very badly. My sister has square trade on my niece's iPhone and she cracks the screen all the time. Last time she did and it was about her 6th repair for the year, she closed the car door on her bag that had her phone in it. It literally almost broke the phone in half and they just replaced that phone.
It is worth checking out.

They also have family plans which are $90 for two years if you pay them in advance instead of monthly and only one phone has to be new or currently on insurance, not all of them.
