Well, that's a long story my newfound friend. I went to Verizon online with every intention on chrome. Hit add to cart, didn't see anything out of the ordinary, ordered and went on my way. Got my order email, and it said I ordered blue coral. Went back to the website and discovered it is the default color for purchase.

In closing, don't be so excited about something you order blue coral. I haven't seen any of the phones in person to know if I'll like it or not, sticking to being excited like for Christmas and really just happy I get this phone at all. If all else fails I'll take it to corporate and pay the restock fee to get my beloved chrome. Most likely I'll just care more about having the phone and not the color it comes in.

The sim card thing is accurate. I tried to activate with the new SIM on my Galaxy S7E that arrived 2 days early and it told me to take a hike. I activated with my old SIM.

Odd, my S7 Edge arrived 2 days early and I had no trouble activating it. I was going from a micro to nano SIM so had to use the one in the Edge.

I guess I'll have to call Verizon again tomorrow and raise hell. They keep telling me it's shipping Friday but it said delivery by Friday when I ordered. It's ridiculous that people who ordered later than me have their tracking info and my order is still processing.

It should mean shipping from your local hub on Friday and you getting it then as well.

Do corporate stores already have the Note 7's in for Friday?

Yes and actually I was wrong. Blue and Black are available as of right now. No silver, But its still early and depending on Location, it could differ.

Finally got everything sorted out. Getting the phone by Friday. Also got a 50$ account credit and the bundle (otterbox, USB-C car charger, screen protector) for 35$ instead of 90$. Also the rep said the note 7 can not be activated before Friday. Something with messing up the Sim card because it is not technically launched yet. Don't know how accurate that is.

This is HIGHLY INACCURATE. Note 7 can be activated right away.
