Verizon shipping free Droid battery doors?

Just received an email from Verizon stating that they are currently out of stock and will ship them overnight as soon as they are available again. According to the email I should receive them between 1/12 and 1/20. So it appears they didn't cancel my order and I will receive them soon. Sweet!

Got the same e-mail today. It was the first confirmation that my order had been received, so I'm happy about that. Was wondering for awhile if it even went through.

Maybe if all of those who ordered multiple covers instead had each ordered only one, the rest of us would have our covers now instead of an e-mail.
Just a thought.

Verizon emailed me about bettery door

I know there is a lot of discussion going on in the other thread about this. I finally heard back from Verizon about the battery door orders everyone rushed on for. It looks like their not canceling the orders, they just ran out of stock very quickly. They said mine should be here in 3-5 days

Motorola is shipping them. I just got out of a convo with a Motorola rep online, and they said it should be here in about a week.

I just received my droid battery door!!
i gave Verizon a call on Monday and told them my door was loose, and they sent me a new one for free!
via FedEx!
... and heres a picture for all of you they dont have yours yet to drool on! ha

has anyone actually needed a replacement cover yet? or just stocking up for that drunken night when u wake up the next morning only to find the cover has magically disappeared Actually happened to me, but i found it a day later under the couch. As of late tho, my cover has been stable.

Mine came today as well with no real forewarning so it looks like they are following up on their word... The battery door has definitely been improved to stay on better!

If you missed this VZW fluke then contact Motorola CS... They will send you the improved battery door free of charge.
