UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes sir I did. I found out the offending app was in fact Verizon's family locator. My wife apparently had it turned on for all of the kids phones and my got caught in the fray. Once I uninstalled that the issue went away.

My thanks to everyone who tried to help with this one.

Omg, disable any and all Verizon apps. I just got this phone back, and I'd say the battery life is better than when I had it in January.
