verizon tab is finally getting gingerbread.

I noticed that as well but I checked to make sure that it would reboot correctly and the marketplace updated...that might help for you as well.

Today (Monday 11/07), my Android Market was automatically updated to version 3.0.27. I guess it only checks for update during the weekdays. :)

Just want to add:

I was rooted and running the one-click-lag-fix patch. All the verizon bloatware was frozen using titanium backup. Before installing the update, I undid the one-click-lag-fix and unfroze all the crapware and it went smoothly. I have lost root now but that's expected.

I believe if you deleted the Verizon crapware that came installed you could run into issues but I don't think there's a need to unroot. You will simply lose it after the update.

I tried searching for the update.zip to help out some of you, but could not find it. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

Mine got stuck on the boot screen last night. I popped out the SD card and it unstuck itself and started fine. I put the SD back in and it was fine.

I hit "install" on my tab and was away for a while. Came back and seemed like everything was done. However, now I'm seeing:
Firmware: 2.2
Baseband: S:I800.0.3V.DL21
Kernel: 2.6.32.9 root@SEI-28 #3
Build: SCH-I800.EC02

Isn't the firmware supposed to be 2.3.5?? I went to system update check and it says "your system is currently up to date."

Has mine failed?? How do I get GB, if so? :(

Mine's rooted with OCLF and it still says I have root access...

Yeah it didn't do it if it still says 2.2 (it should be 2.3.5). You should make sure to undo the OCLF before trying the update.

Has anyone rooted their Tab after the GB update? If so, what method did you use? I'm still searching for a way to root mine and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
