As long as your's doesn't say "requested future delivery" then yes. If it says "requested future delivery" with a date of 8/18 or 8/19 then Fedex is required to hold the package at a nearby location and not deliver it to you until that date.

So you're correct, looking at my tracking info with FedEx it shows the package was picked up this morning and while it does say 2-day delivery it also says "requested future delivery". When I check out my VZW orders it actually show the shipping date at the 17th not today the 15th. I asked a CSR about this and she says that NOBODY will get their device before the 19th. (At least VZW customers). I'm highly suspicious of her explanation but oh well, it is what it is.
