Do I pre order from Verizon with a date of 4-17-20 or roll the dice and try walking into Best Buy in the morning and see if I can get it there?

I would like the $200. bonus but don't want to wait that long.

I'm sure Best Buy will have them in stock before April.

I need last minute advice, what ya think?

You can always cancel your Verizon order. I bought a placeholder Ultra 128GB which I'm giving to my brother when the 512GB is shipped, supposedly, by April 17th. It may arrive earlier but I'm not counting on it. The camera on this thing is amazing and I have yet to take photos of any significance.
