Hi there. i did a search about this but couldn't find any help. ( sorry about my broken English )
any of u guys know if i can still transfer a unlimited data plan to another person? will verizon let me do the transfer?
I have 2 lines whit unlimited data but, im tired of paying a lot $$ :'(. and i want to switch to boost mobile.
Any advice?
Thanks for ur comments :)

You should be able to have Verizon do an Assumption of Liability (AOL) on the account if you can find someone who wants to take the account and contract from you. What I'm not sure about it whether or not you would be allowed to port your number to Boost.

As stated you would have to do an assumption of liability. If it is a single line account the number cannot be ported. If you have more than one line the number you want to port has to be an additional line. If it's the primary you can have customer service switch it to an additional line. I'm not sure if this has changed but when doing an AOL the new account holder has to choose a current calling plan which means the unlimited data will not transfer. Hope this helps.

well. I dont want to port my phone # , only if i cancel my contract , is not what i want.
I saw a few websites where people is offering to transfer contracts whit unlimited data on it.
but i did want to make sure if it is possible to do it. before i find someone who wants it.

thanks for ur help. i did call verizon today. but waiting for a manager take for ever, no one knew what to said to me. they told me to go to verizon and find out therre. ( i dont want to go whit the person and get out whit 2GB plan ) :'(

You can have someone take over your line and port their number to it. I have done it in the past, just met in person and called verizon. They talk to both owners and get the needed info and your done.

I have two lines. My wife's line has unlimited data, which she barely uses. I finally got a smartphone after Verizon stopped offering unlimited data. I tried to get them to switch the unlimited data to my phone, and they said it stays with the phone number.
