They won't. Data is the new hot thing. They gave up on the unlimited talk plans simply due to data. Back in the day people used it for talk/txt and data was rare (3g was slow and all that) so they banked on the talking part more... Now with data being so fast (faster than home internet in some cases) they have swapped to that because once data started to "blow up" people swapped to VoIP to get unlimited calls and stopped going the normal route. Therefore carriers changed their game. They won't go back to not offering unlimited calls since people would just swap to VoIP.
