i've been having issues with my old BlackBerry Storm usb cables not charging my DInc very well (one doesn't charge it at all despite the lightning bolt logo appearing over my battery icon), so I ordered 2 Verizon universal usb data cables.

But the cables don't say anywhere on the box or the cables themselves what the amps are. Does anyone know?

I know the Storm cables were either .5 or .7, and the one that came with the Incredible in the box is 1 amp. Are these Verizon ones the same?

(all it says on the sticker is 'compatible with usb cable vzw most micro usb ports')

I don't think the cables have an amp rating (except the max rating maybe) the actual amp rating should come from the power source not the cable. It may have to do with the configuration of the pins on the cable. Check out the "Incredible use special USB cable" thread for a better understanding.
