For those of you with Verizon, do you use message + or do you use the app that Samsung provides for messages?

I've used both. I liked the auto reply while driving (detects car Bluetooth) function and cross platform syncing with a Windows client, but was not nuts about the GUI / default color scheme and the strange "smart emojis" it wanted to randomly add to my typing. I am back on the stock app for now.

Some people like Verizon's messaging app, but I prefer Samsung's stock messenger.

Using the verizon app. Haven't had any issues at all. Generally use speech to text tho which works very well. Not sure of any advantage of using one over the other.

You can change the color scheme and disable the smart emoji in the Verizon message + app.

I use the Verizon app, though I have changed between it and the stock on my S5 a few times. Verizon app can be used on Pc, tablet and phone at the same time and the color scheme can be customized. Also, you can share location with your contacts

I keep switching, there are parts that I like in both apps, right now I'm using messenger +.

I use samsung unless im abroad then i use the verizon one because texts are sent and received over wifi and that means no extra charges

I like the stock one batter than the Verizon app. Haven't tried anything else yet.

Verizon colors it's apps red to let you know, stop, this is crap! Samsung's message app is really good... And allows for replying in the pop-up alert.

As I posted earlier, you can change the color in the settings. It also allows the replying from popup,

So far I'm using messenger +. I just find it more fun than the stock app, but I do miss being able to reply in the pop up that the stock app provides

Change the color all you want - it's still "Verizon Red" through and through. Crap ware, bloated and buggy. Stock Samsung works well as does 8sms. I like the amount of stuff I can link into a text from Sammy's version and the quick reply.

FYI non VZW phones can download/install/use the VZW message+ app.

I have used it on my At&t gs6 for a little bit.

Verizon's app can use wifi for messaging. Don't need a signal. That's huge for me as I stay in a no cell area sometimes. Is Samsungs the same does anyone know?
