Verizon..... we what are you waiting for?

I was simply going off what Google was quoted in that article. As I said -- either quoted wrong or the information was displayed wrong. Still makes me sad though. Sucks VZW does that to unlocked devices when it isn't needed.

I'm not sure if it's up to Verizon. Is it possible that an unlocked phone can't support all carrier non generic?

Pixel? OK I'll bite. What are the software exclusive features? Please don't say that poor man's Siri? Even Apple users don't bother with that.

V20 would sell better but the window is closing. With N7 in disfavor V20 has a huge opportunity... NOW

..well if your going to dismiss Google Assistant, there's no conversation to be had with you.

Unless LG pays up, there won't be a big marketing push for the V20. Was there a big marketing push for the V10?

With the iPhones 7 and 7 Plus, Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, and DROID variants of the Moto Zs taking up prominent space in most Verizon stores, there might not be enough room for the V20.

Yes I do dismiss Google Assistant. I'll never use it

Like everyone else dismisses an IR blaster.
I agree. I love ir blaster but it is not a feature manufacturers value. Most users never learned to use it. It's actually a pretty good comparison with Google Assistant. Most won't ever learn to use it. Difference being ir blaster is hardware making phone more valuable to some. Google Assistant is software any phone could run by downloading similar stuff from the playstore. You can't download an ir blaster. Another great feature was fm radio. Gone forever from most phones.

Depends how the wifi calling is coded. T-Mobile openly worked with Google and that's why their features (VoLTE, wifi calling, band 12 or "extended range LTE" as they call it, etc.) all work on these unlocked phones.

It seems since Verizon got dibs to sell this.. They're keeping that all for the one sold by them.

I have to be so lazy or hungover to ever want to speak to my phone, and even then, its just hey what's the weather.

Considering how often our kids loose remotes, the IR blaster is priceless. My phone is currently the only remote I have access to for the t.v. and Xbox 360. DX

What's bad about Verizon is they don't even have a page up with coming soon. I wonder when their pact with Google ends so they can start selling V20s.

I'm trying to find out the same thing. Would like to make decision on a new phone by the end of the week, unless Samsung offers some ray of hope for current Note 7 owners (unlikely).

Verizon is heavily vested in the Pixel. I would not expect anything until mid November. Cool if I'm wrong, since would consider the V20 if $650 as Tmo is apparently getting.

That would be a bad move for both LG and Verizon.

When I called to reactivate my Note 5 this morning they said the V20 and Pixel were both available for pre order fwiw
