Thinking of putting a warranty claim against my all black Verizon Pixel 2 XL for extreme blue tint at any slight angle other than straight on and for some reason my headphone dongle causes issues with cell service. Even drops signal if I'm in an area with 1-2 bar service. Think Verizon would have any issue with sending my replacement XL 2 back to me in a panda version?

Usually no. It pretty much always is same exact phone you had.

probably not going to happen, but you could always ask. I'd be interested to see if they even let you do a warranty claim. I've always had the reps who are adamant on reproducing symptoms in order to file claims.

The only time you can get away with changing color is during the normal return period by paying the restocking fee.
