Verizon30 works with Note 3

For anyone that pre ordered the phone has an issue with getting the credit this is what I had to do. On the phone they said it wasn't a valid code and a scam. Even though it's been working in there system for weeks. I did a live chat and got them to admit it was a valid code then ask how I could get the credit. They replied back saying to call customer care and they would refund the difference. I was talking to a supervisor and had to email him a screen shot of the conversation. I got the $30 upgrade fee and the $90 credit. They were calling you promo code an invalid code or a scam. Hope it helps someone. I had to talk to multiple live reps until one that said the truth.
 
I tried 6 times to get it applied retroactively. The best offer I got was to return my phone to the store tomorrow, and place the order with phone sales.

This is too risky as I have an unlimited data plan, and could and probably will get hit with a $35 restocking fee.

Any advice? I have never had problems getting an adjustment in the past. Plus my main line on my account has been active since 1994.

Will this work in store? Like if i gave them the promo code in store could i get it for that price in store instead of ordering it online? I have already ordered it online and will be monday but i could get it in store and just refuse the shipment on monday but i would like that big discount. Please help.
 
Well, I paid the $299 + tax when I pre-ordered the phone. But, I just called verizon and I can confirm that they credited $90 to my account.

Give them a call and get your credit!

Yes I can confirm it. I just paid 90 plus upgrade fee. Lol, what a savings.
 
Maybe best buy will price match.

Having paid $299 at BestBuy today before checking this forum, they will not price match an online coupon code, even if you pick up at (Verizon) store. Only option is to return to BestBuy and buy at Verizon. Not worth the effort to me.

Now if I could get one of those $90 deals it would be worth the effort! Man, first I missed the unlimited data glitch and now this $90 Note 3 glitch... some guys get all the luck!

I heard the same thing at a Verizon store - they got an email to the employees not to mention the code. I don't care, ordered mine, confirmed and shipped but I bet they kill this code pretty quick. Sounds like Verizon needs to hire some programmers...

I just said, my friend pre-ordered at the same time as me and he was able to receive a $90 credit today because the verizon30 code now works because the phone is in stock. I told them that at the time of pre-order, there was no box to input a promotional code. He put me on hold, came back a few minutes later and said, "we'll have the credit processed and check back with you in 2 days." Checked back a few hours later on my verizon and the credit was applied to my account.

I think this might be over. I tried it this morning and it is not taking anything off the 299.99 sales price. Anyone else have better luck today?
 
No luck for me either. I was actually just about ready to buy it at $299...and I know other people have...but knowing that I missed this discount makes me feel less excited for now.

Although I'll be perfectly happy for somebody to point out that I'm mistaken once again and actually CAN get the discount today. :-)
