Verizon's new frequent update plan

So I just updated this past July. Now I'm hearing everyone has these plans to be able to upgrade more often than every 2 years! Does anyone know about the Verizon one? Can I get into it or do I have to wait 2 years till I'm eligible to upgrade again?

Yeah waiting 2 years is no "edge" lol that's disappointing. I was just reading on verizon website you just pay extra every month on your bill? Starting with the new bill on the new device that they hand you for free? That's odd. Seems like there should be a way to get into payments and pay for a specific amount of time and then be eligible to upgrade. I hope things change in the future. It's an odd sounding plan to me.

Nope, edge requires you to be off contract. It isn't financially beneficial to the consumer.
