Are you using an always on display or just lock screenI would like to get rid of the vertical clock on the lock screen and replace it with another, horizontal clock. Is that possible at all? Every suggestion is welcome, thank you!

Re: NOTE 8 Lock screen clock
Yes you do have some options, to change the clock do the following:
Go to settings
Go to Lock Screen and Security
Tap on "Always On Display" if it is turned on you will see a time range below those words.
You now have 6 default options to choose from:
Digital Clock
Analog Clock
World Clock
Calendar

Edge Clock
I know, figured in case they had aod on the local screen. That's for the always on display not the lockscreen.
No. The AOD/Edge clock and the lockscreen are different things. Do you even have a Samsung phone?I know, figured in case they had aod on the local screen.
I think you can have the edge clock on lock screen without aod on
I have a note 8 and have had Samsung for years. I haven't done too much with changing the clock types though. More with aod and lock screen tjjming settings.No. The AOD/Edge clock and the lockscreen are different things. Do you even have a Samsung phone?
If you have AOD on, press the power button. What you will see is the lockscreen.
If you choose Always On Display and select Digital, Analog, or World Clock, the clock will display on the lock screen as horizontal. Vertical clock is an edge clock setting within AODI would like to get rid of the vertical clock on the lock screen and replace it with another, horizontal clock. Is that possible at all? That still won't change the clock on the lockscreen you know. That changes the clock on the Always on Display. If you choose Always On Display and select Digital, Analog, or World Clock, the clock will display on the lock screen as horizontal. Vertical clock is an edge clock setting within AOD
It worked when I had aod enabled and locked my screen. Just giving him optionsThat still won't change the clock on the lockscreen you know. That changes the clock on the Always on Display.

Again, because what you're showing is not the lockscreen.I'm not arguing here. I set my phone to lock with the power button to test this and it worked. It was locked and the clock was vertical. He asked about displaying a vertical clock option and this works.
The aod is the initial clock display.I'm not arguing here. I set my phone to lock with the power button to test this and it worked. It was locked and the clock was vertical. He asked about displaying a vertical clock option and this works.
I see that the lock screen after that still shows a horizontal clock. Just an option, he could initially see the vertical clock. The aod is the initial clock display.
He asked to transform the lockscreen from a vertical clock to a horizontal one.I see that the lock screen after that still shows a horizontal clock. Just an option, he could initially see the vertical clock.
