Nothing happened, no drop, no scratch, no drop of waters on it just nothing. Pluged it to the power then went to eat and after that 3 big lines across my whole screen from up to down have appeared -.- My tablet is an E-boda XL 400 QC ( not well known one :D ). If u got any ideas how to fix it i'd be graceful ( tried the factory reset and also many apps but still no fix ). Check this pic. to understand better about what am i talking here ;) : http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/17/71mz.jpg

Sounds to me like your LCD/LED/OLED (Don't know which tech your tablet uses) panel is defective and needs replacement. In the best of cases it's the display connector that has a few loose pins but unless you sometimes see the lines and sometimes you don't (for instance, if you see the lines at boot and after the OS has loaded) then I wouldn't get my hopes up... :(

I'm sorry but if you're seeing the lines even at boot, there's no way to fix it via software because it's not a software issue: It's your hardware. Like I said before, in the best case scenario the display connector is loose (but to be honest, if it was this, 'wobbling' the tablet or pressing a bit on the edges would cause the lines to either disappear or change or more lines to appear/disappear), the connector has some bad pins (replacing the connector would clear the issue) or in the worst case, the LCD panel is now broken and those lines are permanently dead (no way to fix unless you change the panel).

Sorry, mate :(

I had the same problem with my google nexus 7 (2012), I had vertical colored lines going through my screen, (note I did not drop, nor split anything on it). I was advised to go to a repairs shop and get a new screen. Apparently my LCD broke so my screen was replaced and it now runs like magic.
I hope you find this helpful.

I am also facing the same problem. Will the lines expand. Can anyone tell me.

Hi,I dropped my nexus 7 and it landed on the bottom corner.nothing broken is visible but there are horizontal lines on one side about 2cm thick which somewhat disappears when i press my thumb against the same corner.i have tried reseating all connections but couldn't go further beyond to where they remove the lcd from the glued digitizer and case.Should i try doing it ?

Looks like the screen connector is loose and needs to be reconnected firmly...this is a hardware issue tgat can be resolved by a hardware surgeon

I had (Which I still have) an RCA tablet, I dropped it too hard and when I cut it on there are horizontal white lines fading onto my screen no matter what! Someone Help!
