Very Light Double Tap

I've noticed of late that double tapping as gently as it's possible to do it is enough to wake the phone or put it to sleep. The lightest of touches, so gentle you think it can't possibly work. It wasn't always so. One of the previous updates of weeks ago I would guess. I'm unlocked D855 EUR, on v10l. Any other users find the same?
Also, any users so far lacking updates who have trouble with double tap, take heart, a future update may fix.

I am on version 10b and mine has always been sensitive. it's actually perfect because I can turn it on with such ease.

I wonder if this is something that can be tweaked? Kernel option, no doubt.
