Very very new to Android

Hello everyone. We've recently upgraded to our first Android phones. To show how new we are, our old phones were a LG Env Touch and a LG Env2. We just never replaced them since they still worked. I ruined my Touch working at the Super Bowl and we just got tired of people having more fun on their phones than we were. We bought 2 Rezounds during the Verizon online sale. I have lots of questions about how things work and how to make it my own. A few generic questions to begin. I was reading the Getting Started thread and noticed some of the posts are several years old. Is the info still good? Do apps provide logout feature?
Thank you for providing a good site. I'm eager to learn and this seems to be a great place to start.

Welcome to AC... for the most part the info is still relevant, certain ways of doing stuff have slightly changed with Android 4.0/ Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) but the info should still be helpful.

Yes, normally apps that require you to log-on will have an option to also log-off.. if its not on the main screen, its usually in the apps settings which you can access by pressing the phones Menu button within the app.

Enjoy the forums.. head on over to the Rezound section if you have any questions or just wanna jump in on one of the discussions.
