Vibrant SMS problem!!

I wanted to see if anyone else had this problem or not. This is my second vibrant that's doing the same thing. When I am in my messaging screen and select a person that i already have or had a convo with and send them a MSG, sometime it will randomly send that MSG to someone else form my contact but it will still show that MSG went to the person that i was trying to send it to. The way that i find out is when the wrong person that it went to, will text me back saying what or something. this is really bad when i am trying to send a personal MSG to someone and it ends up going to a person that i don't want it to go to. only does it about once or twice a week. The only way that i know i can fix it is by restarting the phone. Any help would be great!!!! thanks

Funny, never had this happen. Check out hand cent from the market place. Best messaging app on android.

Default SMS app is amazing its fast and that unlock feature makes it great for quick viewing, never encountered this issue before.

Never had any problems like this, but I fund the stock messaging app to be horribly laggy. Im now using chomp sms and its much better. Handcent is also good.

ok so i downloaded handcent but how do i make that my default so i get all my msg in there... cuz right now when someone sends me a msg i receive it in both handcent and the default samsung inbox... is there any way to get it only in handcent...

I like handcent as well but I uninstalled it. I want it back but not until we can figure out how not to get double the notifications. Anyone?

If you dont want the double notifications, go into the stock messaging app's settings, and uncheck notification. Then you'll only get them in handcent.

Wow! That was too easy! Thank you... I just came over from Blackberry of 5 years so I'm still learning lol.
