Vibrate setting shortcut

Is there any way to set the phone to vibrate without having to turn the volume all the way down? I am not talking about if I am in a certain location, just when I want to put my phone on vibrate on the spot. Any setting or shortcut that I'm overlooking?

Don't think so. Notifications settings are really botched in Lollipop.

Interested as well. This is the only element of the n6 and 5.0 I am not thrilled with.

there is a short cut, just hit the volume key once to bring up the volume setting, then hit the bell, it will switch to vibrate.

Along with all the other widgets included, you can configure a 1x1 widget for a:

- Ring/Vibrate switch which lets you instantly switch between those modes
- Silent On/Off switch which switches between "All" and "Priority" modes

I suspect the developer will be refining these actions for Android 5.0 soon, but for the moment they work as described above.
