Vibration Issues

Is it possible that one of the vibration motors could fail (if there's even two of them) because I've noticed that, lately, the haptic feedback feels weaker than usual. I've read a few stories on how bad Sony repair centres have been to people so I'm reluctant to send it for a repair.
