Vibration on phone stops working at random

[Android Central Question]

Since early this morning my phone as been spontaneously losing it's ability to vibrate in all circumstances (typing, ringing, and alerts). The length of time it's gone isn't consistant, no settings are being changed within the phone, and I can't seem to find a consistent way to make it turn off or back on. It just comes back when it feels like it. Very odd and annoying.

Since apparently things were OK previously and this problem just starting this morning, have you tried just restarting your phone? Sounds like this is just some kind of one-off glitch, something that often gets resolved by just rebooting.
If the problem is still occurring after a restart, at least you'll know there is something that needs to be looked into.

Welcome to Android Central! Try Safe Mode as well, to see if the problem is being caused by some app you installed.
