vibration on text messages

Hi guys, this is my first post so please be nice !

I tried looking for a solution with the search function but I could not find anything so maybe you guys can help me out.

When I set my phone to "vibrate" phone calls vibrate, but not text messages. Can I make it so it vibrates on both calls and messages? and if so how? I would really like it to just vibrate and I find it weird that my old phone can do this, but this spify piece of hardware.

can you get the phone to vibrate for text messages on normal setting?

Ok go under messaging, menu, settings and at very bottom it says vibrate when notify check that.
