Video. 30 fps or 60 fps?

Yah set to 4k, thought that was the best way now

Keep in mind the Pixel XL's screen isn't even 4K, and most people's TV's and computer monitor's aren't either. Consider the end usage of the video before switching to 4K (don't get me wrong, it's great if you can actually use it), but also consider that at least today, most people don't even own a display of any kind that can natively display 4K. The files get pretty huge pretty fast. With the free unlimited storage at full resolution though it's not a big deal either way.
 
Also take into a count that 60fps requires more light. Whenever I'd do drum videos it would make my videos really dim on my Note 7 when I had one.

The device should be raising ISO to compensate for the faster shutter speed for an identical exposure regardless of FPS.
 
Be aware that if you switch to 60 FPS, the apparent resolution seems to drop. It seems like either it's not using the full resolution of the sensor in this mode, or the bit-rate is too low. Here are a couple of videos which illustrate the problem...
