Am I missing something or are there no video apps for tablets? The Ipad has everything. Android phones can get Netflix, Hulu, Blockbuster, HBO go, etc. Honeycomb Tablets have nothing, despite better software and more powerful hardware. What gives? I have one but why would do we want android tablets?

Re: Video apps???

Check my post on video Issues. I think the reason is unifying the software for tablets and also video playback issues. Videos are extremely choppy on high resolution at least on my ACER. People are playing with the bitrate of their own videos and seems to clean up this chop but how do you do this in an APP? Im no programmer so I have no idea if this is something they can even do. However I do know a driver or operating system can solve video issues. Maybe thats what the holdup is. Just guessing. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Re: Video apps???

Honeycomb is still relatively new so our options are still lacking, and numberswise the iPad still has way more market penetration and only one hardware configuration to worry about so they have a bigger lead on app availability for now.

Have you tried PlayOn? It has a monthly fee, but we have access to Netflix, Hulu, and a plethora of Flash sites at our fingertips, plus its an easy way to stream content from your PC regardless of file type/bitrate as it converts it on the fly. Its one of my most used apps.
