Video Chat App for front facing cameras?

Anyone know of a good video chat app that utilizes phones with front facing cameras?

I tried out Yahoo Messenger but it would only recognize the rear facing camera....which is pointless IMO.

GTalk with video only works on Gingerbread at the moment.

You can side load or push the new gtalk through recovery. Check out my post there is a few pages about it.

If you are rooted, there is a mod I posted on XDA to enable the FFC for YM.

If you root it you can put the 2.3.3 version of gtalk on your phone which enables video/voice calls.

I'm trying to figure this out too. I have tried Fring and Tango, but neither seems to want to utilize my FFC. Is this a device support thing from these programs?

The problem is caused by the lack of standard FFC API for android versions 2.2 and earlier. Hardware vendors created their own APIs and for video chat applications to work with all the devices, they have to deal with all those different APIs.

Big software companies like Yahoo and Skype seems to be happy with this "fragmentation" that they made their apps exclusive to a certain vendor. Smaller companies are adding support for more devices but they have to test their software first before releasing it to the public. ooVoo for instance has already implemented codes for more devices but are still disabled.

And although Gingerbread has a standard FFC API for all devices, it is still up to the application if it wants to use the API or not.

There is currently an issue with the front facing camera not working properly with Tango. We have just received our LG Revolution in the office and have begun testing it. We hope to release a fix soon. Thanks for your patience!

Ok I tried fring oovoo and tango (saw the tango guys post above)....nothing does anyone have any clue when this will get fixed (besides trading in the phone)? Video chat was one thing I was looking forward to coming from my DINC.
