Question Video Doorbell Notifications

I have been trying a few different video doorbells with my Galaxy S-22. Seems like I have the same issue with all of them,
"problem getting dependable notifications" when the phone is locked. I have tried everything and worked with the company (currently Wuuk). They have no answer. I have seen online others having the same issue. When the phone is locked, sometimes you get a motion notification , sometimes vey delayed and sometimes never, same issue when someone ring the bell. If the phone is unlocked it works fine - any ideas?

So if you have wuuk set as unrestricted it doesn't show up as an option to put app on not to sleep because it's already unrestricted which why device care doesn't see it

I thought I had it with the battery setting "unrestricted" (only could charge battery 85%) it worked several times then stopped, back to intermittent . Went back to battery "optimized", same issue, works for a while then intermittent . Its funny, if I open the Wuuk app, make an adjustment the doorbell works right away for a while then back to intermittent.

Found phone got put in battery saving mode some how, fixed that so it charges 100% now. Have app set to unrestricted battery, never close app and it seems to work best maybe 60% of the time in this setup, still not reliable.

Check within the app for push notifications otherwise reach out to the Dev of the app

I worked extensively with the Wuuk tech support and they could not fix it. I was hoping someone else out there with a Wuuk doorbell and a S-22 to chime in and tell me if there having the same issue or a fix, but for now thanks for all that tried to help me with this mystery.

Wuuk sent me a new doorbell for free to try. As I expected, I had the same results, random notifications. Definitely and issue with Samsung software to block notifications when phone is locked. Some how Wuuk can not get past this all the time. I have read others having the same issues with other video doorbells and Samsung phones. Interesting though, I did not have this issue with the Ring doorbell.
