Question Video Doorbell Notifications

I have been trying a few different video doorbells with my Galaxy S-22. Seems like I have the same issue with all of them,
"problem getting dependable notifications" when the phone is locked. I have tried everything and worked with the company (currently Wuuk). They have no answer. I have seen online others having the same issue. When the phone is locked, sometimes you get a motion notification , sometimes vey delayed and sometimes never, same issue when someone ring the bell. If the phone is unlocked it works fine - any ideas?

Try this:

1. Open the doorbell app.
2. Then bring up your Recent Apps/App Overview screen -- you should see the doorbell app as the first app in the overview.
3. Tap the doorbell app's icon at the top of that screen, and then select Lock This App.

This will hopefully keep the app in RAM and prevent the system from killing it or putting it to sleep while the phone is idle.

My Galaxy A32 5G is still on Android 14/One UI 5.1, so maybe One UI 6 has different options. @mustang7757, what do you see on your phone?
There's a couple things for OP to look at
1. Long press the app >tap info>battery>set to unrestricted
Same place under mobile data set to allow background
2. Device Care open>set that app to never sleeping

I don't use those apps but those selections should help and also when you long press the app>go to notifications tap notifications categories and check if everything ok there maybe post screenshot so we can see what the menu for that app is set at .

If above is ok and still not working for lock screen then we have to check lock screen menu but first try the above.

Also make sure DND not set that could also limit what's shown.

If all the things I just mentioned then have to see if WiFi/mobile Data issue or if using a VPN or Ad guard

My screen is all the same except "Lock This App" it says "Keep open" or "Stop keeping open"
All the other settings are the way you describe but I can't fine device care for this app to set to never sleeping, it is running in the background, I think I set it to never sleep someplace before.

The only thing I can find is "never sleeping apps" where you can add those specific apps you want not to auto sleep. The strange thing is is the wuuk doorbell is not in the list to add with all my other apps.
Tap the + symbol to add apps

Exactly, looks like all my other apps are there but the wuuk app does not show in the list. That is strange
Is this the app?
