Video Export/Compression Issues?

So my Fascinate shoots some great video (during daylight) but I'm having a problem with playback on my Mac as well as uploading to Vimeo. The video I shoot has no problems uploading to YouTube and playing on Quicktime X, but if I try to open it and edit it in Quicktime Pro or iMovie, it only opens audio. And if I try and upload a video file to Vimeo the picture is smushed into the top quarter of the screen. I checked the files and they are mp4, AAC, h.294, everything video and Quicktime Pro should be able to play, but it just doesn't work. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if so, do you know what the problem is and how to fix it? Vimeo claims the video may be missing some pixels due to the phone and that I need to convert the video but without being able to open it in Quicktime Pro or iMovie I can't convert it. Anyway, I'm at a loss. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I have a PC too. The issue is what's coming out of the phone. Same issue uploading from my PC.
